this might sound insensitive but taash is currently my biggest disappointment of the companions because there is literally nothing to their story other than the gender identity
#idk how to describe it but their whole quest (and especially the accompanying coded entries) are so jarring#like they're very modern sounding and therapy speaky? which is just weird in what's supposed to be a medieval setting#also it's such a missed opportunity since qunari already have a completely different view on gender than the rest of thedas#not to explore something with that instead of just using 21st century language and explanations#(and i say all this as someone who's been going through my own gender thing for the last few months akskdkd)#i get what weeks was going for but it felt more like a beginners guide#for people who've never heard of non-binary#than an actual storyline#which is genuinely disappointing when compared to the other companions#who have interesting shit going on#don't know why they couldn't give them a plotline alongside the gender stuff lol#datv lb#datv spoilers#datv critical
